American Equipment Exchange (“AEX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online marketplace that connects equipment sellers with equipment buyers. AEX provides the platform for listing and communication, but does not** take ownership of equipment or participate directly in transactions. All negotiations, payments, and sales occur strictly between the buyer and the seller.

2. All Sales Are Final

All equipment sales made through the AEX platform are final. AEX does not accept returns, issue refunds, or facilitate exchanges for any items sold on our marketplace.

By completing a purchase through AEX, you (the buyer) acknowledge and agree that:

  • Equipment is sold as-is, unless you have negotiated otherwise with the seller directly.

  • AEX does not offer or process returns, refunds, or exchanges under any circumstances.

  • All equipment details, including condition, age, and specifications, are the sole responsibility of the seller.

  • Any concerns or agreements about returns must be made directly between the buyer and seller before finalizing the transaction.

3. Buyer-Seller Negotiated Arrangements

If a buyer and seller choose to agree to a specific return, refund, or exchange policy outside of AEX, that arrangement is entirely between those two parties.

To avoid misunderstandings, both parties should:

  1. Put any agreed-upon terms in writing before completing the transaction.

  2. Clearly specify the conditions and timeframe for any potential return or refund.

  3. Keep a record of all communications and agreements for their own protection.

4. Inspection and Due Diligence (Strongly Recommended)

Because all sales are final, buyers should complete all necessary inspections and verification before purchase.

We strongly recommend that buyers:

  • Arrange to inspect the equipment in person or through a trusted third-party inspector.

  • Review all photos, condition reports, maintenance records, and operational information.

  • Confirm ownership status, serial numbers, titles, or any liens before payment.

  • Ask the seller any questions about the equipment’s condition, location, or delivery terms.

Once payment is completed and ownership is transferred, the sale is final.

5. Marketplace Disclaimer

AEX is a listing and communication platform only. We do not:

  • Own, store, or ship equipment.

  • Verify or guarantee the accuracy of listings.

  • Provide inspection, warranty, or buyer protection services.

  • Process refunds or exchanges.

All transactions are conducted at the discretion and risk of the participating buyer and seller.

6. Google Merchant Center Compliance

For sellers using Google Merchant Center or other online advertising platforms, this policy ensures compliance with the requirement to display a clear and accessible return policy.

Please ensure that your individual listings reflect this “All Sales Final” policy and that any special return agreements between buyer and seller are clearly documented within your listing details.

7. Changes to This Policy

AEX reserves the right to update or modify this Return Policy at any time.

The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
